If you have aluminium or Venetian blinds
they will need to be cleaned on a regular basis to avoid dust building up on
them. The reason dust builds up on these blinds is because they have horizontal
slats which tend to attract a lot of dust and dirt.
When you need to clean your aluminium
blinds, the first thing you need to do is close them then wipe them with a soft
duster starting from the middle outwards. Once you are done, open and then
close them in the opposite direction so you can do the same process, but on the
other side of the aluminium blind slats.
If your aluminium blinds have any sticky
stains or grease on them, you might need to use some washing liquid on a damp
cloth and gently wipe the stain away. Once you are done gently pat the blinds
dry. You can also use baby wipes to clean any grease or stains off your blinds.
For deep cleaning, take your aluminium
blinds off the rails and lay them down on a towel or an old blanket. If the
weather is okay you can even do it outside!

Mix a bucket of warm water and a small
amount of dishwashing liquid then wipe down each slat with a soft sponge or
cloth then rinse them with clean water. Be sure to let your blinds dry
naturally, if it is not sunny or warm enough you can use a hairdryer on a cool
setting to dry your aluminium blinds.

same as aluminium blinds, rather take a look at our guide for cleaning
